I grew up thinking places like 7‑Eleven never slept, apparently it is not...

Finding out that even 7‑Eleven closes is oddly grounding. We have kind of been sold this idea that we should be 24/7 — reachable, productive, responsive, constantly available to work, to talk, to scroll, to post. But if convenience stores can have closing hours, may be we should too.

當我發現原來連7仔也會打烊，竟然有種出奇地安心的感覺。我們好像一直被洗腦，覺得自己應該要24/7般運作 — 隨時聯絡到、隨時有效率、隨時覆機、隨時on-call工作、隨時聊天、隨時掃手機、隨時出post。但如果連便利店也有打烊時間，也許我們也應該讓自己休息一下。
